Our swimming pool has been designed to serve the need for safe and professional confined water scuba education. The pool is located next to the classroom at Bangniang beach.
SSI & PADI Certified
We offer the entire range of SSI and PADI Scuba Diving Courses from beginner to pro. Most of our courses can be conducted during or be part of our dive trips to either Similan Islands or our two day trip to Koh Tachai and Koh Bon. For those of you who are uncertain about becoming a certified scuba diver, we offer one and half day introductory courses – no strings attached!
Sailing Tours with the SY Pytheas Aura
Similan Scuba Adventures is now organizing sailing tours onboard the SY Pytheas Aura to the most beautiful islands and areas of the Andaman Sea. The boat can be fully chartered any length you desire. She accommodates 6-8 guest in three double cabin & two single cabins. She also offers one head shower, one outside shower, a large dinning table inside and one more outside. For your leisure are TV and Video as well as a state of the art CD System installed.
The Crew: Captain (over 20 Year Sailboat Experience), First Mate, and 2 Deckhands.
Sailing school: The Captain is Master Mariner and will teach navigation sailing upon charter on request.
Languages Spoken: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Czech and Polish.

14 Atlantic Crossings (4 Solo), has participated in some of the major ocean races of the world, included Route de rhum, Ostar, (transatlantic), Antiqua race week, Kings Cup regatta, (Antiqua 3x, Kings Cup 11x,)
1st place race wins: 2 x (Phang Nga Bay, Thailand Regatta overall winner) 50 boots
2nd place race wins: 1 x
(Pina Colada Race, Martinique, Caribbean, 16 Boats)
3rd place race wins: 2 x (Antiqua Race Week, Caribbean, 150 Boats), (Kings Cup Regatta, Thailand, 73 Boats)
All together this Boat and the Captain participated over 25 major Regatta’s of the World, as Corinthian Captain on his Own.
Numerous Solo voyages: Example: Phuket - Oman, New York – Phuket, Phuket – Goa,
The centerboard has seen such Ports as St. Tropez, Iceland, Chicago, New York, Panama, Tahiti, Cairns, Bali, Singapore and Phuket.
Philosophy: Now is your opportunity to enjoy the thrills of sailing on a fast yacht, try your hands on a coffee-grinder ie. America’s Cup style or just kick back in the spacious cockpit and let the skillful crew do their think.
For the thrill seekers, we offer windsurfing, diving, spinnaker flying and waterskiing. But for most, basking in the sun or sipping Rum Punches in the shade is sufficient.
For the Romantics, we have sunset cruises and for the families, we provide an extra hostess for your children. For safety reason we not take children below 10 years of age aboard.
